Question 5-speed, how u like it

I was wondering for the all the people who have Ralliarts, how do you like the 5-speed if u have it? I love mine, it shifts very well compared to other cars i have been driving.

I have the 5 speed and love it. I love how it has the EVO short shifter in it. Plus it's nice and tight while in gear unlike my 1995 Eagle Talon which moves in gear and takes a year to nail the gears. I really like how it has a triple synchro 2nd gear because thats the gear I like to beat the hell out of.

I love the Shifter. For stock... However I'm going to swap it out with a B&M Short Shifter ASAP simply because I love that shifter and knob as well. And I also have a Silver RalliArt

Good choice of color on this car.

I have the Cool Silver Metallic Lancer also, I love the color and love the car. I wish my 95 Talon TSi AWD shifted like this car did.

Same here, Silver looks cool. As far as the five speed its good the shifter feels exact and stiff, it's tighter than the A4 shifter.

I think it's great. I do wonder how the B&M shifter will feel though

i really want this car, yet we dont have any in Canada. As of now I have a 03 Lancer LS. Straight off the hook, no mod has been done. Soon to be, yet I would appreciate if someone here knows about cars, could tell me where I could learn more about it.
Transmission,Engine and More pride thx

I don't know where you're from in Canada, but the dealers have some already.

Yeah we do! I just saw one on the internet. It looks tight. but I still would prefer an eVo8.. Doubt we have that in Canada.

The gears ratios are perfect. They keep the car in the power band after shifts. Nice tight shift pattern.

don't waste the money on b&m... get a www.street-customs.com one for like 40 bucks. works great, nice and tight shifting.

EDIT: the short shifter is ON SALE for only 25 bucks! you can't beat that with a stick!

hey insomniac_evo have any pics of yours? I have an 03 ES and am getting an 04 RA this week., I can't decide between silver or black. the ricelights look ok on silver but i'm not sure about on black. i think it'll look pretty good but im uneasy, so hard to choose! such a sweet car!

btw how does changing ur shifter knob do ANYTHING for shifting smoothness? the gearbox is still the same.
