Looks like my passenger side radiator fan is dead. I've connected it directly to the battery but no go. When I called the dealer they want $381 for the motor, that's ridiculous. So looking online I found a motor for $75 at autopartswarehouse.com

Now speaking with the guy at the dealer, he told me the passenger side fan is the AC fan but when I turn on my AC the driver side fan turns on. I'm a little confused...
Can anyone shade some light here? How both fans operate?

Well, the motor from autopartswarehouse.com is a universal one and they told me I might have to do some modifications. Should I go for it or just buy one of those universal complete kit that sells at auto store?

 

I fixed it! Went to the junk yard and found the fan. Installed it and all is good now. So looks like when I turn on the AC both fans are running.
