Power Steering System

So I got ran off the road the other day, and ditched my car. Mechanically, it looks fine, except for my power steering system. I broke the reservoir right where the bigger of the two lines runs in (the lower one that runs to the pump itself).

I need to get my car to the mechanic to inspect my suspention, steering, etc. to see if it's a right off, or if it's still driveable, but to do so, I need to drive it there, (about a fifteen minute trip, straight shot, no sharp turns)

My question is this; I dont want to spend a bunch of money replacing parts, or wait for a reserviour to come in from Mitsubishi, so; If i were to fill the two lines with fluid, and tie them in together so the fluid still circulates, will I damage my pump or any other components?

i wouldn't do that, how broken is it...i would repair it with some epoxy or something, refill, bleed and go...how would you tie them together?

Could you disconnect the power steering all together and just make the short drive without it?

I am just not sure if you could disconnect the pump without needing a different sized belt to keep everything else running.
