when do you add ECU management...
I have a few N/A mods on the car and they have been just typical simple bolt on mods... but I have a ported head and intake manifold about to go onto the engine and just wondering if this last lot of work is going to see me having to get some extra engine management,
Currently the car has headers, 65mm tb, undercrank pulley (not really power making) so adding the ported head and intake will this cause the car to run lean when at conservative rpm under 4000rpm... I know a PB will give me so much more power.
open for peoples opinions and expert advice.

I would say your ready for some sort of ecu upgrade. I'm sure your car will start and run but not to perfection. Maybe look into the reflash or the haltec , I know you have support for the haltec over there and I've seen good results from it even with NA.

cheers for that... I have sent a ECU to Canada so that they can play around with it and see if they can crack the codes etc... I have a Haltech E8 sitting around here so I will eventually put that on - I was just really wanting to know how long I could get away with not having to do it...
thanks again for your help
