An exhaust clip for anyone interested
An exhaust clip for anyone interested
I wanted to get this clip up on the net for anyone who may be looking at which muffler, or exhaust set up to get. Over the past few days I've received a handful of compliments on the setup, and only heard it myself for the first time yesterday evening, which was a change up from only hearing it in the driver's seat.
One thing that bothers me about exhaust clips is generally the person will fire their car up, rev it a few times, and shut their car off. If you're like me, you want to hear how it sounds in the cabin when driven, as well as what it sounds like being driven outside of the car.
So today when I filmed my clip (after my post secondary institution went on strike...) I decided to go all out and making a little vid with some (what I think are) entertaining titles
My exhaust set up is:
- Magnaflow muffler # 14829
- Magnaflow resonator # 14415
- Magnaflow hi-flow cat
- OBX header and DP combo
- rest of the the exhaust is stock piping
Here's the "movie"

NOTE: If you're browsing on a laptop, you may want to plug in some headphones and crank it up a bit to really get a good listen. If you're on a desktop with speakers and a sub, get that bass up
idle sounds like a purring kitten (on this end, at least). My little 1 chip video camera surprised me with how much bass/resonance it could pick up.
