06 RA will not crank (138k kms)
I understand that....but it the TOB was just sticking and wouldn't allow the starter to engage the flywheel. I tried not to overthink...replaced the TOB and boom problem free for months now.

Thank you everyone for your help.
It turns out that it was the battery that was the major culprit. I boosted it and the car started so I am blaming the battery on this one.
Although I spent money on a freakin sensor and starter motor.

I'd imagine it's a normally closed switch, opened when you hold the clutch pedal to the floor. I'm positive you don't have to short it. As I said, I unplugged mine before I drove it off the dealer's lot.
