Speedshifting
i couldn't tell you how bad it is but if you miss a gear you can eat the synchros up pretty quickly. I've been speed shifting the hell out of my Talon which has 86,000 miles on it and the transmission still shifts like it's new. The Ralliart actually shifts a lot easier and seems to grab the gears better especially that triple synchro 2nd, you got to love that man. Also speed shifting is shifting from gear to gear as quickly as possible, I can do it pretty fast since I've been racing my Talon for almost 2 and half years. Probably about 1-2 seconds for me to shift if that. I don't do it all the time, just once in awhile. Also I don't know how strong the shift forks are in the Ralliart, because if you shift to fast you can break a shift fork, which I know the ones in the Talon are pretty weak but I've been lucky enough to not have busted one, I'm going to upgrade them to either EVO shift forks or Billet Aluminum ones from BM Tranny.
I agree with michael, it depends on what you are calling speed shifting. If you mean power shifting, which is keeping the gas stomped while you shift that is usually not good for anything because you get the engine turning and then mate it to the tranny really quick. But again it depends on what you are calling speed shifting.
Another way to shift quickly is push the clutch in, release the gas, switch gears and release the clutch. If your fast enough you'll be in the next gear before the rpms change. I don't recommend to do this all the time because you transmission was not designed to be shifted like that. I think the transmission in the Ralliart is pretty strong and when speed shifting it has no trouble getting into gear. One thing you will have to watch out for is if you shift to fast and to hard you can bust a shift fork which would be really bad. I know the Talon has weak *** shift forks and if you do it to hard and to often you're just asking for trouble. I'm going to upgrade the shift forks to either Steel EVO shift fork's or billet Aluminum shift forks. The second gear in these cars has triple syncrhos which allows you to grab the gear better, also 2nd gear is the most widely abused gear and thats why Ralliart triple syncrhoed it like the EVO. If your brave enough to do the no lift to shift then go for it but you better be mad quick because you will end up bouncing off the rev limiter and doing that to often is bad on the engine. I shift by releasing the gas, pushing the clutch in, switching gears, then releasing the clutch, I've gotten so good the rpms don't change until the clutch is released and the gears are engaged. This is from 2 and half years of beating the hell out of my Eagle Talon AWD. As we all know AWD cars like to break tranny parts and eat clutches for dinner.

Let me clarify myself. I was refering to keeping the gas pedal down while shifting and not letting off, just mashing the clutch in and shifting with the gas still down. I used to work at an acura dealership and I had a chance to fill up a type r integra just shortly after a guy had described how to speed shift. I tried it myself and it spun the tires up to about 3rd gear every time I shifted. Of course it was a guy that worked in detail dept with me and he had been shifting like that and described it to me as speed shifting. It seems like a quick way to go through the gears but when I get my ralliart lancer I dont want to tear a clutch or anything else up from shifting wrong. So if this method is not advisable, I will not do this in my car.
I would make sure you have lots of practice doing this, also you have to realize hondas and acuras don't have shift cables like the Lancer, they have a rod that connects to the transmission so they don't get any flex in the line like we do. You can speed shift but make sure you know what you are doing, I have shifted the Ralliart without lifting my foot off the gas and had no problem's with nailing the gears. It just takes practice and practice, hell I've released my foot off the gas, when shifting gears and have been able to spin the tires in 2nd gear with no problem. If you do it while the ground is wet, I've been able to spin all thru 1st,2nd and part of 3rd gear. When dry I can spin 1st, and part of 2nd gear.

I wanna keep my lancer in top shape and not torn up. I think before I attempt any powershifting, I will wait until an aftermarket clutch is installed or better yet mabye I wont do this kind of shifting at all. After driving an evolution 8 lancer with a turbo (twin scroll might I add) I didn't need to powershift. I guess I'll wait for those guys at rrm to come out with a turbo for this car and run about 8 to 10 psi and be happy
