Thanks for the help with forum rules hate to get in trouble already I actually like these forums.
And I don't think I'm going to do the nitrous anymore or if I do I'm going to research a lot more about it first and see what brands are best I just liked the zex kit cause its the best thing I seen off the bat, il look around its a while before I even decide to run it or not, I'm worried about ruining my car anyways. It's my first car, second vehicle I had a suv before and reliezed I was not in the right vehicle for me. I saw a p&p intake manifold for 300 on road race that looked nice and then they had a excahust but there's a obx one that looks that same but both come with downpipes my question is if the downpipes removes the catalytic converter or bolts onto it?

Also the whole computer ecu thing I want to do mine, tune it or whatever you do sorry for the lack of knowledge, I don't know what to do or get. I have found piggy back Ecu mods and timing boxes not knowing what either are what they do or how to program them. Im trying to get as much information as possible before I go out buying things for my car.

The correct term is "reflashed" I believe.. And when I first got my RA I was convinced rrm was the only supplier for our cars but you just have to look around there is auto city imports which has some stuff for our models but if you look up a eclipse 06 and up I think they have more engine mods.. obx makes headers not sure on the quality some pepl say they like them.. The only thing I'd buy from rrm is the udp

367 I think you need to just sit here on the forums and read , read, search, and read. Everything your asking about has been talked about dozens of time over the past 8 years. Once you've done a fair share of reading you should have an idea of what you want and what to expect out of your ralliart. Especially since this is your 1st car and your dd. Personally I would make sure every thing is good maintainence wise. Replace all fluids, do a valve lash adjustment , replace belts, water pump (timing maintaince basically) , unless you know for a fact when it was done. Also have a look under your car to make sure you don't have any leaks or bad suspension parts.

Alot of the aftermarket parts can be made via DIY for less than half the price. Things like the intake manifold , you can buy one for about 100 bucks and p&p it yourself and paint it any color your want for much cheaper. Solid motor mounts can be made from an oem set with some flexane. A CAI can made by following ralliartN's how to. Coolant bypass is an easy mod as well. This info and how to do it is all here you just have to search

Agreed, I read and read on here even before I joined and still do :P

And on the routine mantence, its very inportant. I'll need struts and springs before I can really do anything and things like that are expensive, 150 for the struts 30 for each mount ( u need four unless ur reusing them) 170 for springs (i need those too) and thats without labor, stuff like that is needed done first before u do anything else. and labor is being quoted as 400 bucks. U don't want to end up with 2k coil overs and a worthless engine cuzz ur timing belt failed etc etc etc

I looked into springs already and the guy who put my car on the lift at the shop said the previous owner replaced the struts and the springs are somewhat good, but the charge for labor on the front is crazy to not worry about it after i fix my warped rotor il be fine handling wise.

Do you know of any cheap good reflashes for the ralliart that can be switched back to stock?

The only reflash option is through UV Tune , and yes it can be switched back to stock.

yeah UVtune is still beta, but you can read from, and write to the ECU...

I read on an eclipse forum that the uvtune has reflashes for nitrous for the eclipse. Are there reflashes for the ralliart with nitrous?

hackish doesn't really like tuning for nitrous injection, but he can... when UVtune is finished, you can tune as aggressive as you wish, and for any type of boost, super, turbo or nitrous...and if you can't tune it yourself, you don't need to rely on hackish, you can take the car to any tuner, and they'll be able to figure it out...UVtune will be like any other tuning program, the difference being it supports ECU's that are not currently supported...it's not just for the 4G69 and 6G75, but for other makes such as kia, hyundai (use mitsubishi engine designs and technology) as well as lotus. i believe there will also be support for other makes as time goes on...
