Quote: almost anything that will increase power ouput for an N/A motor, as small of a gain as it may be, will yield slightly more when you add boost...

as bakuro stated, the premise of my build, in a nutshell was to make what the lancer ralliart SHOULD have been, to be worthy of the ralliart badge, even if FWD...i wanted it to perform well, but also to feel as OEM as possible, i.e. not excessive vibration/noise, but also produce a gentle massage for the ladies at idle
i have to agree i wish the ralliart was awd stock at least, turbo id go either way for this car but again would have been a nice stock addition.

Ido have to say im very pleased and still get surprised with how powerfull this car is and just how quick it can be for what it is... but none the less i love my car but want something awd or rwd and turbo

if your rotating assembly is balanced properly then the removal of the balance shafts will not cause any vibration issues. Our engines are balanced including the balance shafts to help eliminate vibration. I dont use balance shafts and with my 14:1 motor is ran smoother then with them stock.

that would be awesome, i'm planning on attending the Evo/DSM shootout this year, i was going to go the 20th annual last year, but i couldn't because of work...that's about as far into the states as i'll drive, otherwise i would fly. I'm only at 14.6 in the 1/4, but our track the first 60ft is soooo slick.

If I ever get to finishing my Ralliart, I really need to meet with SSP and check out his build.
