Need some help guys. I've searched a couple of times and cannot find an answer.

Where is the oil feed location on a Galant 4G69? I thought it would be in the same place as the Ralliart but that hole is plugged with an allen head bolt. Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot. I thought it was right behind the upper balance shaft.Thanks.

Oh and yes, I know this is not a Galant forum, but I figured you guys/ gals would know. Plus I'm not a member of any Galant forum.

 

by upper balance shaft you mean rear? there's nothing back there except the knock sensor and oil pressure switch for the dumb dumb light. pretty sure the MIVEC oil feed comes from the block straight into the head, there's no lines.

 

This is true. Pretty much an on-off switch on the 4g69 MIVEC. Theres a switch and a valve on the right side of the cylinder head close to the thermostat and stuff that does everything.
