4g69 is already 100mm no need to upgrade unless you get the Brian Crower 106mm and make it a 2.5l

And I would imagine the stock rods would be fine if they are proven to handle 12psi of boost on daily driven turbo applications. But if you wanted to switch rods I would go with an I beam design because they are usually lighter than a beefy H beam.

Are you going High compression or staying at 9.5:1?

Yeah but isnt th manley crank lighter and better? Wouldnt it benefit? Yeah i know the rods are good but if i do a full build i might as well do the rods if i do the pistons... I would go high comp since its all motor

Define better. Because our crank is the lightest, strongest 100mm crank built by Mitsu. Its been proven to handle 800hp so far. If its lighter i havent heard of that. But if I was staying 100mm I would take the stock one to an engine builder and have it knife edged.

As for the rods, if you feel like it'd be beneficial to go ahead and replace it then to it. It can't hurt. Id just hunt for the right mix of strength and light weight.

Bakuro i thought the 4g69 crank can only handle 600hp thats what ive heard about the crank but then again who need more that 600 on a fwd dd lol

I m not sure what the crank can handle. I do know it will surpass the daily drivability limit. I keep referring to the car from NY I think it put down 328whp and it was all over the road, loosing traction on dry pavement in 4th gear, it was mental.

I just ordered a 10psi wastegate spring this will be interesting with no LSD. With Merlin reworking my ROM there was a significant improvement of power delivery, cant say its making more power untill i get her back on a dyno but it sure feels like it. With a 10PSI on its way this should be fun.

Mitsuorder put the 4g69 in his evo built it with DOHC, con rods, pistons the whole nine. But left the crank stock. Its holding upwards of 30psi and 800hp.
