I think I saw it somewhere here in the forum about the clicking/snapping/chattering sound from the engine or somewhere in the engine head, am i right?
If I'm wrong someone correct me.

also, is someone ever had this issue fixed?
whats the cause?
how much it cost to get it repaired?
wheres the best place to get this fixed?

is there any other way to get the sound a little quiet-er in a cheap way?
because mine is louder than the exhaust now, and is getting annoying

Valve Lash Adjustment?

I have always read its completely normal and the noise will cause no harm.

 

"louder than exhaust" is what concerned me...i mean i have a larger than OEM spec lash because my engine runs a little hotter than normal, and the ticking noise is not very loud at all.

 

Depends on what kinda of exhaust he is running too. I am back on stock exhaust and can hear mine ticking from inside the car with the windows down. I guess with a loud exhaust you wouldn't hear that, and I can see your concern then.

doesn't sound like valve tick or injectors to me...have you looked at the timing belt?
