Air Filter For RA
im gonna buy a new air filter for my RA but i look at the stock intake and isn't there like a chip or somthing i think its the air sensor but im not sure( right after the intake box) so if i put the air filter in do i have to take that chip out to or what?
If you are replacing JUST the filter w/ a drop in (like a K&N) then no you don't. If you are replacing w/ a new system (like a SRI or CAI) then what you need to do is make sure they're is a proper inlet for the sensor to be inserted into. Hope that helps.

Got any specifics for that K&N filter for the RA??? I've been thinking about getting one, but I'm not quite sure what to order and what the price of it would be. I also wonder what the real gain would be... but then again, even 2 HP would be good coming from a simple air filter.
well i ask my friend to look at it and the tube with the air sensor is like connected with the intake box and i dont think the filter comes with a air sensor inlet so im guessing i have to cut the tube to the box and put the air filter there. But im not sure im kinda ?????? have no clue.
If you go to the K&N website you can look up the part number. I think it's 33-2105 but don't remember for certain. It's around $65 or so depending where you order it from. You are probably correct with maybe 2whp gain.
