Until you see dynos from Ultimate, I would say sticking with RRM would be the smarter decision.
I haven't seen the dyno from RRM with just the muffler .. so the diss against UR is uncall for

The axel-back is good unless you're planning on 200+hp then you better upgrade to 2.5" (in my opinion anyways).

that was in no way a 'dis' against Ultimate.

The fact is that neither of these companies have a dyno out for their respective products. I don't see Ultimate Racing reps on here every day helping us out with technical questions. I do, however, see Rock make posts constantly, answering every little stupid question that we have (which I'm guilty of having many! )

Poco is right on the money....getting into advanced NA tuning or forced induction would require you to bump your piping size up to 2.5". But for just simple stuff, the axle-back would do fine.

Why else would RRM make an axle-back and not have a full cat-back system yet? It's simple. They know what they're talking about.

The RRM axel back is a bolt on right? No welding involved?

I got my parts installed on Thursday.

Parts off E-bay - $80

Muffler Shop install - $40

Total cost - $120

Its not much louder than stock, but it sounds NICE. Its a little deeper rumble, more noticable above 3500RPM. And the muffler and tip look sweet. You can see the polished stainless muffler through the wheel well. (guy at gas station noticed that)

It doesn't sound ricey at all, its perfect....

I'm working right now on throwing the GReddy EVO2 Cat-back on my car...
It's been a pain so far due to the O2 sensor that is after the cat...
But we should have it tomorrow or the day after HOPEFULLY...
I let you guys know just what needs to be done to make this thing fit... and how it looks/sounds, and if it's even worth all the trouble!!!

If you wana have one installed by a local shop, check out this one:

http://www.meganracing.com/products/...asp?prodid=136

Looks great. It has a 2.5" inlet, but it comes with the adapters to fit other sizes. Alot of Evo's around here have them and they look/sound great. I'm prob gonna get one soon. And they really only weight 5lbs! cant beat that.
