Okay, so I've never reset the ECU
Bad?
I've put in a short ram intake, header, downpipe, magnaflow cat, cat back flowmaster exhaust and I'm about to put the pulley in. Should I maybe after the pulley is in? Will I get any extra hp by doing so? What is the biggest benefit of resetting my ECU? Thanks. |
welll basically none......
some guy will tell you that it does something, but no.. it will only put the ecu on learning mode for the first 150 miles or so... and then bussiness as usual... |
150 miles? I have read and been told it is minimum 50 miles and good to go at 75 or so??? it takes as long as 150 juan?? I definitely trust your opinion over what I have read so far.

Thanks, I was just making sure it's not harmful for the car if it doesn't reset or learn new parts.

The ECU is always learning, it just makes the largest adjustments very quickly after a reset, then fine-tunes itself from then on over the long term.
