Heat Shield
So I am contemplating turning the injen CAI into a short ram (winter reasons) and I got a few questions.
If I do this....
1. Should I be putting a heat shield on?
2. What would the best material be for one?

1. No. You'd have to make some pretty elaborate ducting to block out hot air, at which point you might as well have installed the CAI.
2. Anything that you can cut to shape and will take the heat. Certain types of plastic, sheetmetal, carbon fiber, etc.
