I got it w/o the sun & sound package, and basically the only option on there was the floor mats - they gave it to me for invoice which is 17.6k, minus the 1k rebate which I used as a down. They are putting in an alarm system as well, so after tax, title, license and the whole 9 yards it was 19.2... stupid fees add up quick.

...Oh yeah, and they let me test drive their demo Evo.... HOLY SH*T was that thing quick once it hit boost!

There ecu, intake, exhaust alone gives you 30whp, so say goodbye to the specV, type-s and waaaaaaay goodbye to the mazda 3s. In stock form a RA will take a mazda 3s. It just depends, what do you want? Looks or power? IMO... RA has looks and power, while the mazda has looks. P

Looks alone, the mazda 3s is sharp as hell, still a lil too girly for me (a la corolla xrs). SpecV, while nice, too plane looking, def needs a rehaul. RA looks nothing like a girls car and is not plane at all. It's just as sharp, def get an RA... ull love the trq.
Ralliart*!!!

Sorry just getting annoyed at the -

the "byebye neon" was in reference to my old 95. I thought about the SRT, but with all the problems my neon had, and all the problems my friends newer 02 is having, I didn't wanna go with another chrysler product. I do give props to that engine tho, it pulls hard.

Congrats on your purchase and I hope you enjoy it at least half as much as I enjoy my Yellow RA. If you haven't got one yet I would recommend an exhaust tip as it give the rear end a finished look. That is until you upgrade the exhaust

Regards all

thx, I really like my car, it's the cat's meow... although that evo was dynomite! I was planning on getting an axel-back (probably RRM) soon, so there's no need to replace the smallish tip. It's kinda funny too, cuz my fiance' has a yellow SE-R so we've got 2 yellow cars now.

edit: I've also changed my avatar to match - I'm so original...

Congrats turbonutter, yellow is dope on the ralliart! Now you have to start attending the So Cal Lancer/Evo meets. The next one is in san deigo on nov 21st @ El Cajon Mitsubishi, but this is a special meet because its an all out "Mitsubishi" meet, from: Ralliart/Evo/Lancer/Eclipse/Galant/Mirage etc.

Get some pics up aswell, also... can you state (in detail) why RA over Mazda 3s? Alot of mazda fanboys on these forums will disagree,

I liked the RA better than the three for multiple reasons. The steering in the RA felt more direct and precise, the low-end torque on the RA was much better (I couldn't wind either engine out very much, so I couldn't compare high-ends) and I just liked the whole overall "feel" of the car better. I liked the Mazda interior, but I hated that whacky stereo setup - it would be a PAIN to put in a custom deck. I also thought that the 3 didn't look as good in person as it did in pictures, whereas the RA actually looks better in person than in pics.

I'll get some pics up soon, but I've been driving around almost non-stop since I got the car showing it to the fam and whatnot. I am a boy now.
