Any tip can be welded on. The axleback comes with pipe, muffler, tip in a package thats why it's 300.

^tips are, are just the litttle end thing...not the muffler....unless you getting from ebay

but its cheaper to get a muffler from a good company and get custom piping made to fit your car with a larget diameter of piping. a good companys muffler could run at most 200, 150 somtimes. and custom welded piping around 100+ thats still cheap compared to some full exhaust that the aftermarket companys sell.

for my rsx exhaust usually sell for about 600+ thats quite a bit of money. but some times its worth it...buddy club III pro spec

any other companies sell "bolt on" axel back exhaust beside RRM? Im looking for something much less than 300, plus I just dont wanna weld a muffler to the pipe incase i need to go back to stock for some legal reason.

when you go to a shop to get it done they(depending on where you go, sometimes you pay extra 20) they will weld the muffler to a flange that will bolt right on the the stock piping. And if you really want a axle back you could do that spending 150+/- for a muffler for like a HKS or Tanabe, and take it to a muffler shop and they can weld on a small section of pipe and a flange that makes the exhaust a "bolt on". but you wont have to worry about legal reasons with a axle back unless you gut the cat or something like that

Well, I don't know where you reside, but in southern cali cops are raw. They will pull you over for any lil thing, even a dam factory spoiler. I got warned one time in my old o2 ES that my exhaust was to loud (by gesture of his ear) and it wasnt even loud, not even close to the civic-lawn mowers in my neighborhood. Also for smog reason aswell (what the cop told me). Anwways ill go to my local muffler shop monday and ask him about this "flange-bolt" item.

Rydog and I both just went and bought the Magna flow muffler, It's the same muffler that RRM sells for their cat back system. got it on sale $149 at CrappyTire....hahaha but man it does enhance that RA tone, but doesn't make it ricey...... it is well complimented with a SRI like mine or the CAI like Rydogs.

welded my friend so count on around $80 or so, you can cut the factory and buy the fittings and clamp it on, I'm not a big fan of the clamps but it's there.
