who's gonna make a NON-EVO ralliart hood?

 

If you go one the VIS site and look around at their other CF hoods you will get a very good idea of how much this hood should cost you. If they made this and we all did this as a group buy you could consider the price dropping drastically.

Fittment of a VIS hood is good, not great, their are other companies that make them dead on, but VIS is still good. HOWEVER! you will need to take off all of your origianl hardware from the factory hood and you will need to drill new holes for the washer nozels. You will need a shop to do this for you.

I really don't think that VIS is looking for 20 people to buy right now (as in thisis a GB thread) I think they are just looking for the intrest. So IF your intrested, then just sign up so that the rest of us that really want this hood can buy it ASAP (sorry not to sound like a *****).

 

Also, not to jump in and screw things up, but has anyone considered a vader style hood? Some ppl here don't like the evo style (cause it's an evo hood), but IMHO I think the vader style is a little better. More aggressive and nicer. Not to try and start switching things around, I'll buy and evo hood, but a vader hood is nicer.

 

I have a brand new OEM metal mitsubishi hood on my car... too late VIS.. i woulda been all over you guys if you spoke up earlier..

i'll buy one if the price stays under 425 or so w/vents, then count me in. might not have the money right away depending on if/when this GB happens.

 

i would be interested in purchasing this hood IF and i wasnt so clear on this before if it fits the car WITH the strut bar on it as in OEM i talked to the ACCOLADE reps and there carbon hood will not fit the RA WITH the strut bar on it so my big concern is will it fit with the strut bar on the car. if it will count me in and if theyll sell it for under 425 shipped sign me up thanks for the info

terrible 1, you get into a accident too? haha I'm there with you if you did, but i already ordered a replacement stock hood... I had my body shop call VIS up before and they said it wasn't going to be ready for two weeks, then i saw a forum on here saying something different and that VIS was giving out random answers to timing and pricing so i ordered the stock one. O well my loss, good luck on the GB guys

i am going to send them another email saying that i will donate my hood for the mold. i'll let you guys know what they tell me. Please we need more people to get VIS to make this happen.

 

but WHERE can you buy it? They arent even showing it on their website. I called them today to see if i could order one and they told me the EXACT same thing they told me 2 months ago, "oh it should be ready for shipment in a coupla weeks". I think they are full of it, they kept telling me that they had an 04 hood, but for the EVO, not the base Lancers, they couldnt seem to get that through their head.

 

... what? Dude, seriously read the posts man! The whole point of this thread is to get 20 people's names so we can get VIS to MAKE the hood. The hood for the Ralliart is not made yet, therefore not on the site and obviously not for sale. If you want the hood sign up. The quicker we get everyones names the quicker we get the hood.
