Fastest RA Title

Well i think we have a good contestant for the soon to be NA 13's ralliart...

There was a guy from northern cali that pulled at 14.3 in his 1/4. Only problem is he's not active on the boards. I've asked him to get on and post the slip. His mods are:

RRM piggy
RRM downpipe
Custom Catback w/magnaflow muffler 2.25
Ported & decked .010 head/intake manifold from local shop
RRM CAI
LSD on BFG drag radials
B&M short shifter from RRM
Clutch line upgade
RRM Clutch and flywheel
RRM sway and front strut bars
RRM perches

He's putting the springs and motor mounts in and heading back to the track... seems he had some super wheel hop and was getting 2.2-2.4 60ft times.

He's right there ready to crack into the 13's i think. With a better stick on the 60' and less wheel hop he just might pull it off. He also had everything in the car including the spare. He won't make that mistake on the next run. RRM adviced him on some simple wight reductions. Good luck and hope to see a 13 slip from him soon.

...with the evo, it depends on the driver, some have got low 13's some have gotten low - mid 14's, but based on

- car-stats.com:
13.6 @ 101mph.

- car and driver.com:
14.2 @ 98mph

- road and track:
13.9 @ 100mph

I wonder how much it cost to get the engine ported and decked?? Wonder how much of a difference that made too?

Boe, do you know what HP he was at to get those numbers? What kind of wheels did he have? I'm guessing a nice set of light weight 17's on there.

I don't know those details... i'm getting in touch with him today so hopefully he'll get on here and post some stuff. I don't think he's ever dyno'd but i'm going to encourage him to do so... it will be nice to see what he's putting down.

That would be me. Not much to add but I do want to thank RRM guys for the help and getting me the best bang for the buck. I wanna crack 13s before I go turbo. I got all the essentials covered. I mash on my Ralliart everyday. It keeps me smiling.

Every little thing helps, even the clutch line mod from RRM. Going to keep at it. I have a couple other things to try.
