Our taillight and rear turn signal bulbs are slightly different from the normal 1156/1157 series bulbs, but I've read somehere in here that with a little work, these will fit.

Don't quote me on that.

EDIT: I think this is wrong now. See below.

what kind of work?do you know where you saw that thread?Im tryin to replace the rear bulbs,and also IF there was a way to take out the amber cover in the head lights it would like to know..I want all my turnsignals to be red..

Forget that. The manual says they're WY21W. I think they're the same as 7440 which are bigger wedge bulbs. Do an ebaymotors search. I found some red ones. Here's one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...935125991&rd=1

Before you do, though, pull one of the bulbs and verify they're wedge type.

If I were you, I'd get the mirrored ones that light up amber.

to make the 1157 fit you have to grind off one of the nipples that hold the bulb in the socket

I used a 194 in there and it works FINE

it's the same base shape
