Damn Pedals...! *slippery*

Anyone with aftermarket pedals know if it helps when your feet are wet to control slipping? My feet, when wet, slip all over the place and make manual a pain in the ***....stupid winter...

I think its the law to drive with shoes on.

If you do use shoes, what kind of sole do they have. Are they those slick leather dancing shoes. Or, are they the hiking type like I wear during the winter.

You could try to get some kind of grippy stickons and try those on your peddles.

I wear sandals even in the winter, FL kicks ****

Theres so much more control and feedback without shoes on, you should try it... or for the less brave try driving with some Pumas and then some boots and tell me you cant feel the difference..

But for the snow??? Stick-em? hell.. I dunno maybe like Rhyno lining the pedals? Good luck man

In the summer here I would drive without shoes sometimes. It does feel nice I admit, your feet kinda wrap around the pedals. As for the slipping, it is mostly your shoes, i'm guessing. Try wiping your shoes on the mat before touching the pedals. I made some winter mats myself (out of extra house carpet lol, white burber in my black car). I wipe the snow on those before touching the pedals.
I had some problems with those mats at first though. The notch I cut out by the gas pedal wasn't far enough down, so when I floored it, the gas pedal got stuck under the mat. Scared the **** outta me 2 or 3 times before I cut another couple inches off (the mat that is

Go to your local skate shop and pick up some grip tape.

I'm wondering if it'd work to peel the rubber pad off the pedals then put the grip tape directly onto the metal, hrm...

some of the aftermarket pedals have holes punched up threw the the pedal for grip on you shoes. If you feel the pedals the holes are kinda sharp! on some of the kits i've seen, then shoes would be a must!

I had a set of aluminum ones like that on my Talon. Worked great in winter, my feet never slid off the pedals. Sucked for driving barefoot in the summer though, the edges of those holes are kinda sharp.
