Help with Piggyback

I'm about to install my piggyback and need a little help:

When I splice the 3 wires I need to tap into with the little clips furnished by RRM,
1: Do I need to strip the wire or just stick it in the little metal groove of the clip?
2: Do both wires go into the same groove on the clip, or separate (there appears to be 2 little grooves inside of the clip)?

I have little or no experience with wiring/electrical, so any help is appreciated. Thanks
Freddie

You need to strip a little section of the wire and then close the clip around it. Only the wire tap is used in this connector. That should leave a female connector on that wire. You then use the male connector and attach it to the PB wire before inserting it into the female connector.

I hope this is clear.

I'm a little confused. If I splice into the wire going to the ECU and wrap the clip/connector around it, then I also insert the wire going to the piggyback into this connector - I now have a connection. The piggy wire is now spliced/connected to the wire going to the ecu. Where do the male and female connectors come into play?

There are 3 wires to splice into (hence 3 clips/connectors). Then there is the wire going to the ecu that I cut. One end gets soldered (or crimped with the crimp/connectors included) to one of the piggy wires, the other end to another piggy wire. Where do I use the male connectors? This is what I'm not understatnding.

I don't know if Road race has changed what they send out but the connectors they sent me had to be closed to form the female connector on the Harness wires.

Just send it to me. I'll install it on my car, and then tell you how to do it.

LOL. That was pretty funny!!!

I had my friend do it because I couldn't understand the instructions. I think they need to be a little more clear! Especially the diagram!!!
