I have a question about the RA, I just bought it, it comes all electric, whit 6 disc changer and sunroof, but whit out the subwoofer, is that ok??? or the package has to come whit it???

i would suspect that the sun & sound package comes with the sub.

 

Yep it should come with a subwoofer... i don't see why it doesn't.. i thought it came straight off the truck with the sub... unless mitsubishi came up with a new option... Wait did you get the RA sport wagon/sportback? That i don't think is comes with the sub..

 

I have the sedan, I knew the sub must be on the trunk, but that's not, can you guys help me with that 'cos if is a package, I'm going to clame that to mitsubishi!!!

Yes it does come with a subwoofer in the trunk, 8" I believe. If the car is new off the lot and you bought the S&S package and are missing the sub - take it back.

 

Does your head unit say 'Infinity' anywhere on it? If so, then you're entitled to a trunk-mounted sub.

The dealership may have just installed a sunroof themselves on it, but that's a long shot...not too sure anybody has attempted that one yet.

 

Well is not an Infinity head unit, and here in Mexico, they only sell 1 type of ralliart!!! maybe here they just add the sunroof and changer to increase price, anyways here all the car's are more expensive than us, and we don't have as many packages as us have!!!

Anyways, I just call to Mitsu's customer service, and they said that if on the web page it has the sub like accessory, the c...ar won't come whit it, but if not the c...ar must be whit it, so, i got more confussed about it, anyway, I'm now use to the crappy cars, delear send to Mexico.

Ah didn't know that. I wanted a sunroof without the sound package but they wouldn't do it. The S&S in my opinion is the biggest ripoff. A sunroof costs what, 700 dollars tops? 1000 dollars for a 6 piece infinity system with a whopping 8" woofer? heh...lame.

 

Speedygarcia, in fact there is only one version of the RA in Mexico and do not has the sub. At first the RA wasnt going to offer the S&S and the price was going to be the same as it is now. But since there is a Lancer LS Diamond with the 6 cd changer and the sunroof for a cheaper price, for marketing sake they put the 6 cd and the sunroof for the same price, so dont be mad and take it as a gift from the people of Mitsubishi

In this case "they" didnt remove anything, in fact "they" did put the sunroof and 6-cd changer without increasing the price. You paid about $203,381 pesos, thats like $17,800 USD. You would have paid $18,500 USD in the US for the trim package WITHOUT the Sunroof and 6-CD Changer. So you paid $700 USD less and got the Sun and Sound for that, but without the sub. Take that $700 extra and buy yourself a COOL Sub

You forgot to mention the front side airbags that are included in that price.
