This is true. The smell of rotten eggs means the fuel you are using is very high in sulfur.

I'd definitely change gas companies. Shell isn't one of the better companies. BP/Amoco and Chevron have good quality gas.

Does anyone know of a website where gasoline quality is rated (rated w/evidence to back it up, not some "vote for your favorite" type site)?

Actually, Shell produces some of the worst smelling gases. I used to use them but chaged due to the smell. Try a different company for at least 2 to 3 weeks and see if that fixes it.
