thats what i'm saying if someone wants to wait until their warranty runs out and then start doing stuff to their car thats fine and that is there choice cause they are paying for it. So karass don't assume i'm some little rich 18 yr old kid that gets everything from their parents, cause i work just like you 6 days a week. but your view and my view are different, i want to do stuff to my car, i don't want to break something but if that happens i'll fix it, nothing is gonna last forever and if i'm paying for my car i'm gonna go out and enjoy my car everyday, thats why i have 18,000 miles on it in 5months. their is nothing that guarantee's that tomorrow is gonna come so live your life to the fullest.

can the engine internals hold the power to be wielded by the stage 2 turbo kit?

Their goal with the Stage 2 kit is to safely/reliably max out the engine on stock internals, if I remember correctly from another thread. Beyond that and you'll need to start looking at rods/pistons and such.

damn i thought i put alot of miles on my car, lol . but hey i love every minute driving this car my last , i won't say what it was i could'nt stand the car. bought the car to drive it . my boss bought a 04 rx-8 and it sits in his garage and he hardly ever drives it. i detailed it for him a couple of months ago i had the car for like 4hrs it only took me 1 1/2 to do it and god that is quick took a little to get used to the clutch but it's quick, but regardless i'd still take my ra over it.

If i save up for the Stage 2, then get it on, once i can find and afford different internals i should be able to do simple swaps, like the turbo and such?

If I remember correctionly, Mitsu engine warranty runs out at 3 years/36K miles . . . unless, it has changed since 99.

If the Ralliart stage2 turbo from RRM is anything like the one for the base Lancers (higher boost, fuel control, things like that, check their site), you won't need to upgrade much if you put in new pistons/rods. Just crank up the boost.

As for the warranty, most RAs are covered by the 10y/100,000mi warranty, except maybe for those bought in early '04, late 03.

i got the 10yr/100,000 mile warranty. Yeah, it's amazing how much HP/TRQ is in the stg2. turbo lancer. It has about 260-80whp I believe, that's over 150hp stock. I got to ride in guru-del stg2 . turbo AT lancer @ a pass meet and that was freakin fast too.

I heard it bounces off the rev limiter several times before shifting into second if you leave it in automatic mode.
