Ralliarts are now common

I just saw another ralliart today. They are all over the place around here. I just hope we will get more parts because of it. I see more ralliarts then spec-v's and almost as many ralliarts as civic si's.

I think mitsu was smart to not advertise this car like nissan did for the spec-v. A lot of people will not buy a car thats been labled a tuner. The word of mouth on this car has been great though, and now they are getting good sales from people in all kinds of demographics, not just us guy in our 20's.

You need to move here where I live.... I have yet to see a 04-05 Lancer of any kind (ES, LS, OZ, or RA) on the street. I have only seen 2 02-03 Lancers on the street, and both of them where from out of town. It doesn't help that this town has only two major places to work, the Diamler Chrysler plant, or Delphi Automotive (Used to be GM but now makes parts for most major car manufacturers). So everyone around here gets discounts on GM and Dodge cars and trucks. Heck, I see more Corvettes running around here than Civics. BTW, saw my first Scion xB on the street yesterday!

Here too. It's like a little army of toasters on wheels.

You may have hit on something there, although I'm sure Mitsu didn't plan it that way...just being cheap on advertising I think *L*. Anyway, from reading posts on here and from what the salesperson who sold to me told me about other Ralliarts in my area, they are being bought by "older" people as well as the 20-something crowd. But hey, it's a great all-round car, so why not!

There is a silver RA parked in IV (next to UCSB), saw it last night. There is like 5+ RA's parked here @ the UCSB campus :eek;

Comming back from the SCLC meet (last saturday), there was this hot chick in a TG ralliart, she had 3 other girls in the car (also hot) she ran next to me for about 5mins and we just exchange views and smile than she took the exist, ahhh well.

I haven't seen another one in the two weeks that I've owned mine (UCLA/Santa Monica area). And my roommate's only seen one.

So they're still pretty rare around here. Quite honestly, a part of me wishes that Mitsu would discontinue them. It would make them even more special.

I haven't seen one since fall of last year, and that's the only one I've ever seen. Definitely nowhere near common in this state.
