Question looking for front bumper ground effect

Due to the tons of snow we've had, i accidentaly ripped off the ground effect on the bottom of my front bumper when I pulled out of my driveway the other day :-(

Anybody have one for sale (yellow would rock as I wouldn't have to paint it then) or know of a cheap place to get one in canada? I'm in good old 'winterpeg' btw.

thanx

I did the exact same thing in the snow last year. And supposedly there is only 1 place other than the dealership to get Ralliart parts, and it was in like oklahoma I think, dont know about Canada, but that is what the body shop told me when they fixed my car, ended up waiting 3 weeks to get it fixed, it really sucked

I just phoned the dealership and they want to rape me $534 for this thing (canadian of course so that would be $25 US hehe)

THey are recommending i go through insurance to get it as then I'd only have to pay $200 deductable, but I dunno. I figured I'd try and see if someone has one collecting dust that they want to get rid of.

It would probably be cheaper for me to go with an aftermarket front bumber on this thing such as the GT version 2 front bumber from body-kit.com. They had no prices on their page so I'm waiting to hear back. I wonder if they have a canadian reseller so that I could avoid the whole annoyance of the border...

doode, its doable, its just is there a demand for it, it might look different but it would be a carbon fiber lip for the Ra, i wanted to run the idea past rock if there was a demand for them.

I'm confused, are you talking about making a carbon fiber one to market in the near future, or do you have one of these front bumper lips for sale?

i came up with the idea, it might be in production in the near future... none made yet... it wouldn't be too bad tho... we make a whole evo 8 bumper that costs almost the same as your new lip from the dealer... so i don't think price will be that much

I just looked at your site at the carbon fiber bumper. Pretty snazzy, though I'd prolly want to paint it IF i could convince my fiance to let me get one... as doubtful as that is.. wedding coming up and all :-)

Keep me updated on the lip thing for sure as I may be very interested once i see some pics

Alot of guys here have been wanting a new lip kit, so I would assume that there is quite the intrest, but if you going to make a new lip kit why not make it look better than whats already available for our cars. Just a though, I know a carbon fiber lip kit would be nice, but I would rather have something new and better as opposed to whats already on the car.
