ejecto seato, thats some funny ****!

Its 60 shot.. I will see about making a vid of me using it if I can... would you guys rather have an inside the car or outside video of the nitrous runs. I will try to get both if I can figure out a way to mount the camera and all that jazz.

I'd like an outside shot, then an inside shot of the gauges

Yeah....that sounds like a plan. I've never seen a interior view of a car while spraying.

BTW....POST 1000!!!! Oh yeah!

Thanks guys, I will get an outside vid of the race and I will mount my digital cam on the steering column to get the guages during the race, maybe I can edit them together in sync and have the gauges in the top corner of the race vid so you can see where I shift and where the nitrous hits etc.

I like the setup, I really like the button. I don't know if it'll help but there's a program called Zwei-stein that's a free video editer. It's not the easiest thing to use( I actually gave up on it) but you might make it work for a split screen.

ejecto... That is funny. Too bad Mitsu doesn't make a targa top huh?

first thing, i dunno if some people are typing it this way cuz its quicker or if they speak it too but could we take it easy on the nos (NAWS), pet peeve, sorry.

anyway, looks pretty good, that button is pretty damn sweet. as far as comparing it to a turbo, ehh i see what you're saying but i'm not so sure i would make that exact comparison. regardless, i'm curious as to how big of a shot you're going and i'm assuming you're just spraying into the intake dry style.... so my main questions are just about our factory injectors (what the hell is the rating anyway?) and the plugs. are you doing anything to alter timing, pulse width or plug gap? i'm not saying that you have to or anyting i'm just curious as to how you're going about your setup.

Oh yeah, you'll probably do under 14.5, with ~200whp you should be doing lower 14s on a FWD car, at least, from my experiences...and of course, depending on that stupid fact of what dyno the 200 is on...my Evo dynoed at just above 200 on a Mustang...and Evos are doing what? mid 13s stock? Add in just some slight traction differences, I'd say low 14s...but as always, my estimates could be horribly wrong, can't wait to see the result

Im curious, what are you using for fuel controlling? How are you adding in the extra fuel needed for the nitrous.

Looks good - you'll definitely want a window switch to keep from hitting the button at 1500rpm, or keep it pressed when hitting the rev limiter and fuel cutoff...that wouldn't be good.

OZLancerlunitic, if the Lancer's ECU works the same as other late model cars using NOS that I know of, it will sense the extra oxygen introduced into the combustion process and add more fuel by increasing the injector pulse width (all NOS is in a nutshell is a way of introduing more oxygen into the combustion chamber). This works fine for relatively small shots - anything bigger and you're into upgrading injectors and or fuel pump, not to mention recalibrating the ECU.
