http://www.hidexpress.com/ I know nothing of this company but they have conversion kits.

I don't know if their product is good or not but they have conversion kits. looks easy and cheap.

i looked into that...but, it's the glare that i am concern about. check this article out http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html

this is the reason why i don't want to spend the money on hid kit. i rather spend my money on something that will not only benefit me as well as my fellow drivers.

its not hard at all to retro fit. all you gotta do is cut out a circle on the housing so the projector will fit, and glue it on there or some type of caulk, and then thats it.

any projectors will do, HID kits usually come witha ballast... as long as its a 9007 type light, then it will be fit for our stock wiring... glue maybe the same caulk they would use on like tail lights so that it doesnt get moisture in.... anything that holds good
you know?

^ i think that you are over simplifying it by a lot. most people that do a retro, will also change out the backside, yes you do have to cus a hole, but if you cut that hole then you will now have to use the bulb size that the projector is using not the original bulb size....

Ok every one, i'm here and Yes i have done the conversion, and no they'er not to bad at night.yes they are very bright, but i have installed "glare shields" inside the housing to reduce the glare(my own invention), not to blind on comming traffic, and they work very well at that.Maybe in the futur i may install projector lenses but for now they work fine.If i can can help anyone with this mod please feel free to PM me, mojambo has seen this install he knows my reputation.

I really don't recommend this mod, this is common in Mexico, but the aligment never is perfect, 'cos you have to modify the headlights!!! but is uo to you!

that is part of the risk....but, from what i have read...the aligment is fixable. i will make sure that i measure out every twice and cut only once onto my headlight.

i do want to buy an extra set of headlights..just incase i f#@k up. but, the only place i can get it is through the dealer. so, i am putting my lights at risk, as well as, my stock wiring...but, it is the risk that i am willing to take to be able to see clear as day at night.

Hey Zeof, check out HIDPLANET.com, their forum has a wealth of info about doing the Retro. i am going to do it as soon i have the time and money and workspace. it'll probly be a summer project, but i have a HID kit now and the glare isn't that bad.
