RA ECU wiring schematics

wassup fellas, i tried searching for this, but i couldnt find a good source. so if anyone has a handy manual could you please tell me which wire (color) is the speed sensing wire. im tryin to install the extra features on the greddy turbo timer, but i dont know which wire on the ecu is the speed wire. thx in advance for your help, i aprecc.

don't know if thats what your looking for. scroll down it says its wire 79 on the plug? hope thats what your looking for.

hmmm the diagram doesnt look like the ecu plugs

I have no idea. thats all I found and I haven't really gotten to familar with the car yet as mines only 2 weeks old. Only haave the exhuast and intake done. Haven't looked at anything past that. need warmer weather for me to want to rip into it.

Black and yellow, from what the manual tells me. #79 on the plug, like it says. It's the speed sensor's signal to the ECU and the speedometer. If you want, I can post a pic of the diagram later.

Which section of the manual are you finding the diagram? I can't seem to find it

I was looking at a diagram I found under DTC P0500: VSS malfunction. It was in the section about the 2.4 engine's MFI system.

From what i've seen that wire is supposed to actually connect to the tach signal wire not the speedometer. Try calling to be sure but that is what they told me back in the day. I never connected it. If they say it is connect it to the same wire your piggybacks yellow/black wire is connected to.

HEHE FOUND IT! it was on the center plug of the ecu. there are two black and yellow wires on it. you gotta use the one with the thick black stripe and the narrow yellow stripe. if anyone ever needs this feature for their turbo timer, there ya go.
