Question corrosion problem

Hey guys, im kinda new here.

Have any of you had any corrosion problems in ur R/A?? I just took mine today for a warranty check since mine started showing some corrosion in the back-right window frame. I dont live in a coastal area, no snow here either although the car does sleep outside. thanks for the input

Acid rain can damage the car finish also. Did you live near an industrial area???

I read an article from CAA Quebec that said that the Ralliart Lancer didn't have adequate rust protection around the exhaust area...

but... that's not close to where you're getting it? O_o

THats BS ski, I would be really pissed and ask for the sales manager or hell someone we pay for a corrosion warranty for a reason, no matter how many mods you have this is one that they cannot deny.

the Mazda 6 had a rust problem before similar to this. Mazda did a recall (or TSB?) on this. It's a long one too :P

Well, no, I mean, its an urban area, not an Industrial area...

BTW, just got the car back, they fixed the problem, and quite fast I might add, yet I'm pissed at the guys over there, since;

1. They told me they would put the car in a tow truck in order to take it to the paint shop but instead someone drove it there (I noticed the mileage diference, offset mirrors, etc).
2. I found a weird scratch near the gas filler cap; the guy told me they didnt even touch that (yeah right!!)
3. The window liner (of the worked area) didnt fit as it was before.

Im gonna take the car back there as soon as I can (not today though, I get out by the hour theyre closed), and well see who's going to be right about what...
