Well, I went to the dealership today, got myself two ralliarts, I won't have them for a bit, but they are *MINE* and such, found out there are only 4 black 2005's in California, and i'm taking 2 of them.

Getting each car for 19,990, not the best price, but I said whatever, I saw that if I went much lower, they'd lose money almost, 17,622 base, 575 destin, makes 18197

18,197 + 500$ for dealer (I find that reasonable) - 1500 rebate makes 17,197

taxes and such, make it about 18,800 (Stock)

Then I added my wing, and about almost every other addon they have..

(Oh and if anyone cares, invoce price on the OEM EVO 8 wings, it is 426$)

19,990 out the door, tax license, all. Plus Sports pedals, tint, Titanium clutch, emergency brake, Wheel locks, and a few other low priced things.

They have the cars, thye will have them in the dealership tommarow, they are shipping them form Northern Cali...

Before people start saying BS on the wing, it's the same OEM Evo8 one I got, made for the RalliArt. The diff is that it's NOT CF and fits our stock trunk holes.

It's full Carbon Fiber he told me, and he told me they'd most likely have to drill, I think he said something about its the real EVO wing, maybe it isn't really wouldn't know how to tell the difference, all I care/hope is that it doesn't shake and wobble around like a chicken without a head.

And looks good, of course. and looks/is the evo wing ;p...

When I go sign the papers tommarow
I'm gonna have them show me the numbers they showed the numbers for the stuff, except he just said had a thing that said "+taxes" and it showed the amount..
So gonna have him tell me the % of tax, and do the math, then see what the wholesale on the parts i'm getting added, and find out what the labor is for them, and such, the car i'm sure is a good price.

Just the addon's and the tax i wanna crunch the numbers on.

 

You got a pretty good deal I guess... but if the spoilers are $426 and he says they're full CF, I really doubt him... you'll have to post a buncha pics.

Oh and I think it's really cool that you bought two because not only does that give you more leverage as far as price, but you can compare mods or any problems that arise so easily. For example, you can buy two different brands of shifter bushings or whatever and automatically know which one you like better, then just swap the better one into your car when your bro doesn't notice. Anyways, you're definitely gonna enjoy it, congrats.

As for the full CF, my brother says its something on the sides, but the wing portion is CF, so no clue. I'm going to ask tommarow.

 

Folks, he probably did get the real CF wing. Take a look at the window sticker of an Evo, it's a $400 option. True, dealerships often charge a buttload to buy these at retail ($1,000+) but many dealerships have been cool about selling them at cost when you get it with your new RA. Plus, the dealership said they'd have to drill, so it is the real CF wing. The FG wing made for the RA from the dealership doesn't require drilling.

Hopefully it is, but if it isn't, i'm not going to get mad, the dealership told me he had one in stock right now... He told me most of the things on my list ^ he'd have to order, so once I get the money to him, he starts loading it up. I'm going to take stock pics tommarow for sure.

Well. I just got back from signing my papers Turns out they are probably putting the real EVO spoiler on my car. I woulda been able to see it, but parts department closes at 5, I got there at 5:30.

In the end, they ended up finding out they owe me 323$.
The Finance guy was amazed, he said the dealership doesn't like selling cars unless they make 1000$'s, even to employees, they won't sell unless they make 1000$'s , They are making 261 for one car, and the other no clue.

One car is costing me 19,990
Other is 19666.25 or something close to that.
Reason being? I was sitting there, waiting on my car to drive up.
One of them was there, but the other wasn't.
So I sat there about 15min cause the guy was late (Gr)
Their driver drove up, parked it, etc
Then I look on the tag in the window.
My car is 18.499 in the window. (206 miles cause of the drive from up north)
My brothers (The late one) is 18,199 in the window, MSRP.. (249 miles cause it was further north)
Come to find out, reason is because one was made/had the MSRP of before new years, where as mine had this years MSRP

They ended up cutting me 322$'s for it. So i'm either making them lose money on the second one, or they are still making about 261$ each.
Then talking to the finance guy, he tells me I should get the coating to save the paint, and said he was gonna go make me a deal, maybe get both cars with it for the 322$'s *shrugs*

Should I even get it? Scotch guard the whole interior, and whatever it is they do to the paint?

(He showed me the paper its 495$ each car, but he is gonna get me a deal for both cars )
