I went to a local cheapo alarm and tint place in NW Indiana called AW2 (All Wireless). It's one of those places that deals in pretty much everything. I should have known better and I never let people touch my car. But I needed an alarm and didn't feel like messing with it. So I got a Viper alarm w/ installation and lifetime warranty for $250. Picked up the car, got it home and saw wires hanging everywhere, the led was just dangling on the dash, and the antenna was just sitting up under the dash. Wish I had pics. I called and b*tched them out, then I fixed it myself. I am boycotting this shop.

 

I hate paying to get something done and then seeing they did a cr@ppy job on it. I had an Alpine head unit once installed at an angle. I was like, "I pay you guys $400 and you can't even put the d@mn thing in STRAIGHT???" Like you, I had taken it to one of those places that carries everything.

You can feel my pain. It's ok though cause I did a good job on it. Should have just bought it and put it in myself.
