Just ran a 2002 Mustang V6 Automatic. We got 3 runs. Needless to say i smoked him 1st run i didnt really launch, he pulled a half a car ahead but by the time i was redlining 2nd i was half a car ahead, 3rd a full car, 4th gone. 2nd run i had a bad bad launch, he had a full car gain on me but same story, by 4th i was gone. 3rd run i launched perfect, 1st 2nd 3rd 4th, he had no chance. Im quite surpised actually, im lookin at the specs for the stang and says its got 190hp and 220tq. You think a manual would have been a different story? INPUT!

 

Was this on a track? I didn't see any times or speeds or anything... if it was controlled on a track, very good job; keep advertising our car. If it was on a public street, shame on you.

 

Dude, yes it was on a track. Im so sick of cops bugging my ***. No time slips cause im lazy and dont wanna scan them. If you need proof, find a mustang V6 and race. There are tons out there Im sure someone else on here has raced one. . . anyone?

 

Oh nice, man. I randomly met this guy who thought his 02 V6 auto could take my car... good to know who really has the advantage. Nice kill!

 

One of my buddies little brother goes to the local high school and all these little rich kids have their rice rockets and so they tell them about my car, let them talk s**t, meet me at the track and go home crying Ive had 3 kids race me in the last 2 weeks that go to that school and all 3 were a win for the RA
05 Saturn L300 (it was his moms) V6 182hp 190tq = Killed
98 Saturn SC1 (what a joke) 4cyl 100hp 114tq = Killed
02 V6 Mustang = Killed

 

i think a toyota echo can do the same job

Just playin man. I just couldn't let that one slide.

 

ive beaten many equally moded manual v6 stangs. the cars are about even and its a driver's race, for the most part. but no, they are not faster. and our car is much better over-all (try taking a 90degree turn at 45mph in the stang).

however, the newest v6 stang (is it an 05?) is MUCH improved. V6 is not 3.8L, has much better fuel comsuption and the electronics really are tuned well. infact, it actually has electronics now they are building them more like imports (finally). I think they have about 20hp more, stock than last years model

 

Good call lol Man i HOPE you lancer guys with 5 speeds are spanking AUTO MUSTANG V6's!!! I almost beat one in my dad's 88hp golf TDI, they are slow as s h i t

 

I out accelerated one merging onto the highway a few weeks ago. I heard they aren't so hot with the top end. This makes me giddy. I've always had a deep seated hatred for mustangs probably dating back to a bunch of aholes in a 5.0 that spit on my dads station wagon. Ever since then I've kinda had this vendetta going against mustangs. Its nice to finally have a car that can at least beat V6 mustangs solidly.

 

Not to put a damper on your win...its a v-6 AUTO mustang...a "dump truck" ...Big Motor with no go.

 

I got spanked by a SVT that never left third gear... Super Charged v8, 4:10,posi vs ralliart w/ intake...

 

v6 mustang you should have destroyed. I traded one for my ralliart it was a 01 I bought new. yes.. shame on me. but I had raced my friedns civic against my mustang several times and a stock ex could hang with me. he never bet me but my msutang was a true slug.

I even had my roommates 96 gti with intake hang with me. and I had a stick. Im so glad I finally sold it. only took 3 years.

 

uhh V6 mustang ins't really a nice kill, it's kinda like getting into a fight with a girl, if you win you really shouldn't talk about it, and if you lost, you sure as hell don't talk about it.

If I had one of those, I would drag race everyone I could on the road, because I would never get cought, because the cops wouldn't even know I was racing. ha ha ha
