Hey guys...Just wanted you to know that after I put the AEM SRI on I took a trip whcih was 163 miles one way. I used about 4.1 gallons of gas which worked out to be 33 miles per gallon. I have made this trip many times before the SRI installment and never got close to that kind of mileage. Could it be the SRI? FYI, I drove 65 mph on the freeway with cruise control and averaged a little better than 55 mph for the last half of the trip. Stayed out of MIVEC purposely. One other thing. I've seen some discussion in another thread about how to use the stock intake scoop with the SRI. AEM provides a little bracket that holds the "nozzle" end of the intake close to the new filter.

 

yeah i noticed my mpg go up a little when i put it on... but it also may have been the engine breaking in still because i only had about 4000 miles when i put the sri on... now i get about 27-30 mpg and i cruise at 80-85 everyday to work.... if i drove like a grandma i could prob get in the low 30s
