I just have to wait a month for the short shifter kit. But that is ok, I can handle it. I'm actually more anxious to get the Works clutchline installed.

sorry for not being auto-savvy, but what and how does the clutch line improve over stock? Im curious, because I think I want to buy it if it's worth it.

Yes, so with the Works one I will have completely gotten rid of the rubber line and the restrictor. I may have it by Saturday, but I'm gonna plan on not getting it till probably Monday. Once I get it installed I will let you guys know how it feels.

The stock line is rubber and expands as you use the clutch, giving you that kind of gushy feeling. With a steel line you wont get that expansion, thus making the clutch feel alot more firm and exact. It will push out with a little more authority which should help you shift gears a little faster. This mod isn't as severe as a sport clutch, which makes the clutch VERY firm. This is good mod if you aren't heavy into racing but you want a sportier feel to your clutch.

In the WORKS thread in the Vendor section, they said it only replaces the rubber portion of the line, not the hardline section with the restrictor. If it indeed does replace both the rubber line and the hard line with the restrictor, let us know!

He was quoting me from above I asked him if he had the RRM line already which he does.

That's correct, I already have the RRM clutchline.

Uh... pardon my ignorance guys but why would somebody want two clutch lines??? What is it that I don't get about our clutch line setup or these products?

Our clutch line has two sections. The first one is rubber and is what the WORKS line replaces (rubber flexes, makes for a spongy clutch). The second section is the hardline, and contains the restrictor, which is what the RRM line replaces.

Okay, I get it now! Thanks once again man!

So, besides bypassing the restrictor, what's the point of getting the RRM segment? I mean, since it's been already demonstrated that you can just empty the restrictor of it's inner parts and re-install it...

I already installed the rrm one before somebody had tried taking the restrictor apart. I bought it, so I might as well use it.

Which means I was right? Well, it's nice to actually be from time to time...

By the way, how much did you pay for the WORKS part and you did you get it from?
