Engine Light??

Today I was driving my RA and my engine service light came on... I installed my RRM CAI 2 weeks ago and there was no light up until this point. There was a little rain out today, but I doubt that had anything to do with it, maybe i'm wrong. I have no idea what to do at this point, any suggestions?

Try resetting your ECU and see if it comes back. If it does, take it in and get the scan tool connected and the code pulled to see what the problem is. By take it in, I mean to someplace that can do this, not necessarily your dealer. Try Autozone first, although I don't know if their scan tool can read our codes.

Alright thanks for the tips, I'll see if it stays on for the next few days, then I'll check the piping, and then send it to an autoshop. It's probably nothing.

If it has anything to do with the cai, its more than likely you didnt tighten something down PERFECTLY or didnt install it PERFECTLY. The computer would not recognize a little water in the intake. It what my computer guru guys like to call "user error" I doubt its anything serious though.

Yeah i clamped down the filter. Later that day I took out the air sensor and then retightened it. Checked for leaks and if it has moisture in the pipe. Neither of that was was there. I drove it out of the garage and it went off. Weird...

There is a possibility you could've broken your MAF sensor, but your car probably wouldn't run very good without a reading or a drastically altered reading.
