gas tank took a direct hit and there was no fire, that's awesome

Nah, gas tank shoud be ahead of the rear wheels, underneath the rear passenger seat (lesson learned from the pinto).

Glad to see you walked away from that, must've been one helluva jolt.

 

why would the gas tank be under the front seat?? i've seen them under the back seat before... but never way up there... tomarrow i'll search for it

 

Let me correct my post, didn't reread what I typed. My mind was thinking "in front of wheels" and my hands typed "in front of front wheels". Oops. It's in front of the rear wheels, under the rear seat.

 

yeah most cars now come with the tank where otter just mentioned...and the are not made of metal the are mostly "plastic" im a Auto dismantler and thats what i've noticed anyways. i've seen some pretty sad looking tanks all mangled up and no cracks or holes...

The tiebar is damaged. Apparently the pole even hit it because it has a dent right in the middle also so it doesn't work. About the other things (piggy, DP, etc.) I don't know yet what im going to do with them, because Im not sure what car Id get. So maybe its a RA (wich I doubt but who knows)....

 

awww, poo.....I only need the driverside headlight too.....lol
