Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the gas pedal?

Sometimes it's a little too sensitive in 1st gear, making the car a little jumpy. Is there a way to decrease the sensitivity?

Thumbs up

if it's a throttle cable, just loosen it on the bracket a little by the TB. this is really bad in the evos as well.

You can loosen your throttle cable, that'll increase the dead zone in the pedal, but it affects everything, not just first. Run a search for tightening the throttle cable...the reverse should also be true.

I recommend wearing smaller shoes and training yourself to be more gentle. The Ralliart, and other models can be jumpy, but you can learn to overcome this with a more gentle approach.

That generally works, but it becomes an issue when I'm going over speed bumps or when coming out of driveways or parking lots.

Thanks guys, I'll look into loosening the throttle cable.

Smaller shoes is a must. I thought the pedals were pretty close before, then I put on some sport pedals and now I can't drive the car with one pair of my work shoes.

Smaller shoes is not always an option, especially when going to work or going out.

I have a really worn pair of bball shoes with very worn (thin) soles that I prefer to wear when driving, but I can't wear those all the time.

Get some Onitsuka Tiger's... They are probably the sweetest driving shoes. Thin sole, grippy enough, comes in colors that match any Ralliart Color. They are also stylish about anywhere you go. Oh yah... They are JDM also

Sensitivity of the Pedal may also have to do with how high you are revving the first gear...it gets jumpy with a tap of the gas above 3k...

Get the RRM clutchline or gut your clutch restrictor, that's usually the main culprit for a bouncy first gear, not the throttle.

I'd also recommend the WORKS clutchline. It stiffens up the clutch pedal with will probably help you with you acceleration issue since you will have more control over the clutch.
