Ralliart ABS, 4channel 4sensor or 2 channel 4 sensor
Hey,
I was talking to a guy in a SPEC-V and he was saying that it has 4 channel 4 sensor and that many cars have 2channel 4 sensor.
As far as I know we have adopted a dumbed down ABS verison form the EVO.
Anyone know what type the RA gas 4 and4 or 2 and4
thanks

The guy in the SPEC-V doesn't know his stuff. Most cars have a 3 channel 4 sensor ABS system. Each front wheel is on one channel and the back wheels share one. I believe the Ralliart uses this approach. While a 4 channel may be slightly better, the Ralliart's use of electronic brake-force distribution makes the difference negligible at best.

I would be surprised if we do. Most cars have a 3 channel system. In general, only the high end cars use a 4 channel system. Thus why Nissan liked to tout the fact they used it on the SPEC-V.

As for being good brakes, ABS has nothing to do with how well you stop UNTIL the ABS kicks in. Almost any stop you make on dry pavement will not use ABS at all. Rotor size, master cylinder VS caliper piston size and caliper/pad size are what make brakes good or bad. I think taking out the ABS fuse also disables the brake force distribution thing. It's pretty noticable.
We have 4 channel 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS).
