AC affected by SRI intake??

Alright so the past few weeks it's been pretty hot up here in New England, so i decided to give up on open windows and try the AC method like last summer. Well my AC is killing my car, not only is it making acceleration seem jolty but there is a loud clicking sound from behind the firewall near the driverside. It is also making my idle go all over the area.

So i decided to take my car into the shop, and i have an appointment tomorrow for a warranty tie-rod and shifter cable repair, and figured i'd have them look at the AC as well. Being the person i am i don't want my dealer to know i have an intake, so i took it out earlier this afternoon. Well i turned on the AC to see if the Intake had any affect on it (turned it on with the stock air box i mean) and it ran like normal for over 20 minutes.... Any ideas guys?

Extra heat from the A/C condensor going into the SRI? Only thing I can think of.
