Installed AEM CAI today

Well I finally got my CAI from AEM the other day. And today I installed it. Check out the pics. So far from my little test drive....I am loving it. It looks a bit different than the Injen, and install was cake.
I absolutely love how mean it sounds once MIVEC kicks!
Installed the Speed Source brass shifter bushings while I was under the hood too....crisp shifting .

Thanks..... The AEM is $265. I got free shipping from the place I ordered it from. Seems like $265 is about the price everyone has for this. I know it is a little more than others....but I am somewhat of an AEM fan.

Yeah ive always liked aem more than injen. But in reality, they are pretty much the same thing except for the looks.

This is true. Just a matter of personal preference.

Can it be converted into a SRI and can you use a bypass valve on it?

You can use the bypass valve, but cutting some of the pipe is involved.
I'm not sure about converting to SRI....seems like if you took the down-tube off and put the filter on the shorter tube that the filter would be real close to the valve cover. For the SRI's I have seen, the filter is positioned more behind the battery.

They look pretty much identical, the only difference is the MAS placement.

Looks really nice. I installed the Injen and the sucking noise becomes really noticeable around 5K rpm. How's the AEM sound?
