I like the arangment I have with my wife, she has a scion xB with an auto, that is her car, I have a Ralliart with a five speed, that is my car, how do I know she will never drive my car, because she does not know how to drive a five speed. It is a good arangment.

You lucky bastard...

I work from home, so we only need one car... and she drives it to work! This year alone, she backed into someone (huge scratches on the back bumper!), drove at normal speed on freshly laid asphalt (skirts messed up with tar!), scratches on my beloved aluminum door sills, dirty interior... and so on.

And why did she back into another car you ask? Well, because she "didn't saw it", of course...

Can you beleive I still get the "you love your precious car more than me/us" comment even after enduring that!

I can't wait to buy an old rust bucket and send her to work in it...

well she can't really bring up the "you love your precious car more than me/us", because she's driving the car every day. I don't let anyone drive my car (except mom/dad/brother). That's when I know I found the right girl, when I'll feel confident handing over the steering wheel, but I'm still gonna be in the car hehe For now, hands off !

Well, yeah she drives it... but then still complains when I do the maintenance/scrubbing/shining!!! After all, a car takes care if itself, doesn't it?

Grrrrrr...

I love her for anything but car related matters. She gets me so hangry at times... Like friday when they predicted a chance of a hail storm. I called her and said she needed to park the car under any kind of roof she could find. Answer: "I won't take time away from my job just for the car." So I say: "Uh, car = 20 grands and half an hour at work = 10$"!!! And she goes "yeah, like your car is more important than me"! I was like WTF?!?!?

I quit getting you love your car more than you love me when I made cleaning out both of our cars a weekly chore. It is kind of like vacuuming the living room but your car, you own it, drive it, people can see in side of it so you should keep it clean, I vacuum out both cars once a week and clean the vinyl/plastic, I think she likes the fact that she drives around a year old car now and it looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.

Man, that's one great idea... I'll try and introduce the car into the weekly chore schedule! I had to spend at least 3 hours just getting the tar from under the car and removing the bugs stains after our vacation must have taken at least 4 hours... you should've seen the front of the car when I finally parked it in the driveway after the trip back!

No vacuuming in the house could take that long! I've got to get those chores credits back!

...and you should be a marital car-ralated conflicts consellor or something dude!

My wife groans everytime I say im gonna clean the cars...she either thinks I should do house cleaning or spend time with her. She gripes because her car isnt clean but doesnt want me to go and wash em. Shes not clingy or anything, i just go to school full time and work 30+ hrs and we dont see each other very much.

I try and make it a weekly thing and wash both cars, but sometimes when it is my day off i go give the RA a bath and she gripes because I spend too much time on my car.

AAAHHH, I dont understand women!!! If only they could understand the bond that we have with our cars. Oh well they can get over it

I'd be more worried the GF can't form a proper sentence. "I didn't saw it" ???. Poor girl.

See women need to learn that we DO love our cars more than them. I think i got lucky with my girl tho. Ive actually tried getting her behind the wheel but she said shes too afraid to mess anything up. She says she even trys not to touch anything when shes just riding along. Now thats a girl! (Plus she knows she inherrits it when we get married, so she wants to keep it nice)

Don't let your wife drive it anymore. I'd be pissed.

I'm glad my wife isn't into sport compacts, eventhough she likes my Evo.

She would much rather drive her Jeep Grand Cherokee. ( Thank God )

Damn, you're hard on me tonight... I didn't catch this one.

Have you noticed that half of my posts are edited though? I do try my best, I promise... it's just that english is still not 100% natural for me.

I can't imagine how weird my posts will be when I begin my spanish lessons on top of that...
