I'm thinking of upgrading to a Ralliart as soon as they come out. My dealer said Sept 1st the first one will arrive and he is going to send me info ASAP.

6 speed trans, or slightly revised gearing with a LSD. A power jump to around 180-185. An EVO style hood, better stock tires, painted brakes, an EVO steering wheel with cruise, and a price tag less than 22k.

It needs to look a little more agressive.... Those headlights make you look like some kind of joke. Also a little better lip kit on it, the current one is a little bit to subtle.

1. LSD
2. Galant ralliart concept seats. They look cute. http://www.mitsubishicars.com/compan..._ralliart.html
3. Outlander engine revisions which gains 5% performance over 4G69. Why made 2 different 2.4 litter Mivec engine when you can build one and use it on the entire production line (Ralliart, Eclipse, Outlander), giving less production costs, plus more aftermarket support given the bigger market. http://media.mitsubishi-motors.com/pressrelease/e/corporate/detail1317.html
4. Sunroof standard. If the Scion tC has it, why we can't.
5. Easier to remove front stabilizer bar. I heard that's the problem why we do not have any upgrade for that yet.
6. Sportier body, maybe more Evo lookalike.

In terms of package options, they would be better this way:
1. If not made standard, Sunroof should be alone for those who do not want side air bags, or subwoofer.
2. Super Sound package which includes the 315 watts radio upgrade, subwoofer, and 6-cd changer (anyway the CD changer do not work with aftermarket radios AFAIK, so it make sense to put all of them in a package). This one can be installed by a dealer.
3. Side air bags for the people who want to be more secure.
4. Upgradable steering wheel to EVO wheel, also installable by a dealer.
5. Upgradable spoiler to EVO spoiler, also installable by a dealer.

At least we can dream of it for 2007, since they already release info for 2006 Lancers.

Nice find! At last we get our answers...

I would have put money on the fact that they wouldn't change much though... but at least the grille is a good move.

What is a "silver mesh accent panel"???

Aluminum pedals are a nice touch too.

The color keyed inside door handles are as well.

Question

-

As I just said, it got the grills... and the rest, as you can see, is not gonna happen this year.

As anyone seen a picture of the front with the new grills and also of the new door handles?

Well, at least we know that there is going to be a Ralliart model for the next couple years now.

Yeah, you're right of course... it could have been worst, they could have pulled the model from the lineup.

Some tires that actually grip the road.... I feel like i'm on a slip-n-slide while turning on fresh blacktop.

Why are the stock tires so bad? I was talking to a buddy who works at a tire place, and he said that the Goodyear was a good tire when I asked what I should upgrade to. I told him the traction was lacking, he seemed to think that unless I was headed to the track right now, that I should stick with the Goodyears. What gives?

The tires give...

The Goodyear as a (really) poor sidewall construction that just simply collapses under high lateral loads. Plus the grip is not that good...

In essence, they're crappy tires... but never mind me, I just drive cars.

Actually, if they suit you, why go through the expense of buying some better tires? But yeah, just be carefulwhen driving at the limit...

They don't. I've had at least one fairly scary slide on a clean, hot road. But I don't know WHY they suck, just that they do.
