Hi guys!
Here's the thing. reTro kindly sent me his discarded audio components (speakers and amp) from his Infinity 315w setup (which he replaced by a nice aftermaket setup). I now have to install the stuff in my non-S&S RA. I have everything figured out as far as wiring and pinouts are concerned... but here are two things I'm now looking for to be able to complete the install:
- a DIN adapter for an aftermaket head unit to the Infinity amp.
- a factory amp harness connector (from someone who bypassed the whole thing on his S&S RA). I am looking for the (mostly) rectangular connector that sends the amplified signal from the amp to the speakers.
I can always rig something up if I can't find these... but I hate crappy, unclean installs. And anyway, it would save me a lot of time if I could get the connector and adapter.
I know the factory harness connector is kind of an hopeless cause (but you never know)... but I believe someone on here posted about the DIN adapter at least.
Anyway, thanks for any help you guys can provide me with!
note: my budget is very limited...
So if you are willing to part with any of this stuff, I won't be able to pay a fortune for it. But state your price anyway...

I would love to talk to him, even just to get some more info... any clues as to who it might be though? Does that ring a bell to anybody? I'm not finding anything directly related (yet) using the search fonction...

I found the DIN (round plug on the amp) to RCA adapter... but 27$! That's steep, isn't it... I guess that leaves me with no choice but to try to build my own adapter (I hate working with RCA shielded cables though).
I still have no clue where to look for the rectangular plug out of the amp though... and when you think of it, why would anybody else than me need that. After all, it's already installed on the cars with S&S... and nobody else has this configuration on their car.
So I guess my best bet is to look for a totalled RA and try to get the harness from it. So, does anyone know of a totalled RA somewhere in North-America? If so, can you try to et my in contact with the guy who owns it?
