with the stock ones, they are rubber so you can torch them (basically melt them)

with the brass ones, it's METAL.. good luck getting them out

the kartboy ones can be torched also

I had no problems. Make sure you lube up the brass bushings, and check them every year or so to make sure they haven't seized.

I forced the larger one in and it works fine.... I just kinda moved it around until it popped in... and stock ones came out fine... and if you screw it up just buy a new cable end rather than going through alot of trouble...

i dunno cant put my finger on it but the shifting just felt too stiff.... you know just notchy.

it just felt different but imo in a bad way, the gears seem to go in smoother (with oem) and it felt like i had to concentrate on my shifting more w/ the kartboy base bushings....

i thought it was in my head but since its such a fast install i decided to put the oem ones and see if it really was, and so it did indeed feel better to me (key words here to me)

to others it may feel perfect.

You must be talking about the ones underneath the hood not the base ones because base ones would have no effect on shifting really, they are actually pretty much useless they do add a tiny bit more stiffness but not enough to notice.
