This is some bull....
Ok so like 2 months ago I went to the dealer and asked what I could do to the RA before I void the warranty. Well dude said that I could do an intake and exhast and not void the warranty but he wasn't sure about anything else.
So I went up there yesterday cause my paint is chippin and asked another guy what I could do to it to get a better idea. He said anything that messes with the HP would void it. So I have the RRM SRI and now I gotta take it out every damn time I go up there cause the first dude didn't know what the hell he was talking about.
Also mom, yes I live at home eat me, said that I might have to pack up the SRI until I either trade my Auto RA for a Stick RA or until warranty is gone.

Yup, read that, and take a copy with you to the dealer.
A vendor CANNOT void your warranty unless they can PROVE that what you put on the car caused the trouble your having.
You put in an SRI, so you have less low end torque now, and slightly higher top end HP. I doubt the extra 3 ponies caused your paint to peel. Take 'em a copy of this (please read it first so you know what you're talking about) and then have then stuff it in their rear while they mix you some new paint.

You have to get buddy-buddy with the guys in the service dept at the dealership. I hooked my dealership up at HIN Detroit 2003, and they won awards because they brought one of the first production Evo's to HIN, had an awesome display, etc.. My service dept will not void my warrany unless I go turbo or get an ecu upgrade, but everything else you see on my car in my profile, they think its awesome. It all depends on how you act around them and what you say. Try to stop in and talk with them once and a while to kinda become friends.. they gave me my original evo8 wing free.. fixed my squeaky bushing for free (warranty work), etc..
