ok guys, got another question for you. i want to advance my timing a little when i go to the track. but i don't know how to do it on this engine. i used to be able to do it on my sohc vtec honda i had a couple years back. but it was really easy. this is WAY different. what do i need to do? so far it looks like the only way is to use an adjustable cam gear but they don't make any for our cars right?

The problem with the adjustable cam gear is that it changes the ingition timing by changing the valve timing. Not exactly the best route.
You'd have to slot the bolt holes on the cam angle sensor in order to have adjustable ignition timing without playing with your valves.
