URGENT REQ: pic of amp/wires

reference: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh....php?p=2285719

I need to see what the amp looks like and the wiring out of it. The local dealer is ordering the parts I was missing in my car when I got it, I want to be sure that all of them are ordered today so I can get this all taken car of next week.

thanks in advance!

It's mounted on a metal bracket (sorry, no pics) that is in turn bolted to the floor under the seat.

BTW: If you don't find a wiring loom under the seat, you're screwed...

There should be a rectangular plug and a DIN type (round) plug.

ok cool thanks, I'll check that out. I won't be screwed though, whatevers missing Mitsu is ordering for me and making it work. They'll get it working no matter what. And again, I don't care what it takes since i'm not paying for it

Got the update from the dealer. about $1200 to replace and install everything. THe dealership that bought the car for me is paying for it, but also going after the auction lot it came from (because it was bought in tact and stripped after purchase). everythin is on order

Should get everythin installed next week or 1st week of sept

I'm sure ti won't cost them $1200 to replace all that. That's just what it would cost YOU.

Think about it. The S&S package was only another $1500, and that included a sunroof and front side airbags.

nope thats the "dealer price" quote for the parts and service apparently. doesn't really matter to me, but just wanted to clarify i see where you're comin from tho. gotta remember this included remote keypads, floor mats, and some other things than just the sound stuff

Yeah... many owners take out the stock sound system after a while to replace it with an aftermarket setup. As a matter of fact, I just finished installing reTro's Infinity speaker's in my car (OMG, it all sounds way better now!)... he said no one would ever wanna buy that, so he gave the whole thing to me (including the amp). I just payed for shipping.

So I think the dealer will probably source a used setup, install it back into the car, then charge the auction company 1200$ anyway.

nah its all coming straight from infinity, i told the guy I wanted a brand new set up, and he showed me where the orders were placed and whatnot. Its all gonne be legit stuff. My dealership here in Buffalo is doing the ordering and installation, the dealership in Rochester (not Mitsu, just general sportscar place) is paying them for it, and in return the dealership in ROchester is going after the Auction in Maryland. its complicated, but I was guaranteed that all the parts would be new and replaced to 100%

so now i play the waiting game

That's good news then.

And I was just thinking... If you have to drive a car with no sound system, you might as well drive one that has a nice sound like the RA! I still drive around with the windows down and the radio off from time to time, just so I can listen to the sound of the car...
